1. About us
Trade Desk Co. is a trading name of Costly Oak Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16371446). Registered office: 5 Edgehill Chase, Wilmslow, SK9 2DJ, United Kingdom.
You can contact us by email at contact@tradedeskco.com. When we say "we", "us" or "our" in these terms we mean Costly Oak Limited.
2. These terms
These terms apply when you buy from this website as a consumer. Please read them before you order. You can print this page or save it as a PDF from your browser.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. Where these terms and your legal rights differ, your legal rights apply.
The contract is in English.
3. Our products
We sell printed stationery: the Trading Psychology Journal and the Levels Notepad. Each product page describes what is inside. Photos are a guide; the colour of the cover and paper can look slightly different on your screen.
Trading involves risk. These products are educational and reflective stationery tools only.
They do not provide financial advice, investment advice, trading signals, forecasts, or guaranteed trading results.
Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Inner Circle Trader / Michael J. Huddleston.
Launching early December 2026. Orders are not open yet; we are not taking payments or pre-orders. Dispatch timing will be confirmed when ordering opens.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Orders delivered to the United States are charged in US dollars (USD) at the dollar price shown on the site. The total, including delivery, is shown in your basket and on the payment page before you pay.
Costly Oak Limited is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or the other methods shown on the payment page. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken when you place your order.
If your bank converts the price into another currency, it may charge you a conversion fee. If the payment page offers to show the price in your local currency, the converted price is set by Stripe and includes a conversion charge; you can choose to pay in the original currency instead.
If we make an obvious mistake with a price, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Your order and our contract
When you press the pay button on the payment page you are placing an order that you will have to pay for.
Our contract with you starts when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation by email. The confirmation includes your order number; please quote it if you contact us.
If we cannot accept your order, for example because a product has sold out or there is a problem with delivery to your address, we will tell you and refund you in full.
6. Delivery
Launching early December 2026. Orders are not open yet; we are not taking payments or pre-orders. Dispatch timing will be confirmed when ordering opens. Planned delivery prices and usual delivery times, counted from dispatch, are:
- United Kingdom: free, usually 3–6 business days from dispatch.
- United States: $45, plus $20 for each extra item, usually 6–14 business days from dispatch.
- Rest of the world: £24, plus £6 for each extra item, usually 7–20 business days from dispatch.
We do not ship to the EU, Norway or Iceland yet.
Delivery times after dispatch depend on the carrier and on customs and are estimates. If your order has not arrived within the usual time, email us and we will trace it.
If we are delayed by an event outside our control, such as a postal strike or severe weather, we will contact you as soon as possible. If the delay is likely to be long, you can cancel and we will refund you for any products you have not received.
The products are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. If a parcel is returned to us undelivered, we will contact you to arrange delivery again or to refund you.
7. International orders, customs and import charges
Orders sent outside the UK pass through customs. We complete the customs declaration and describe the goods accurately as notebooks.
United States: we pay the US import duty when we post your order, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
Everywhere else: your country may charge import duty, VAT or sales tax, and the carrier may add a handling fee. These charges are not included in our prices, are collected by the carrier or your customs authority, and are paid by you. We cannot refund charges you pay to a carrier or customs authority. If you refuse to pay them and the parcel comes back to us, we will treat that as a cancellation and refund what you paid us, less the cost of the parcel's journey back to us.
It is your responsibility to check that you are allowed to import the products into your country.
8. Your right to change your mind
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day after you receive it. If your order arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days start the day after you receive the last one.
Before dispatch: email us and we will cancel the order and refund everything you paid, including delivery.
After delivery: tell us you are cancelling by emailing contact@tradedeskco.com with your order number, or by sending us the cancellation form. You do not have to use the form. Then send the products back within 14 days of telling us.
- Return address: Costly Oak Limited (Trade Desk Co.), 5 Edgehill Chase, Wilmslow, SK9 2DJ, United Kingdom.
You pay the cost of sending the products back, unless they are faulty or not what you ordered. We recommend a tracked service, because the products are your responsibility until they reach us.
We will refund the price of the products and the standard delivery charge you paid within 14 days of receiving the products back, or of you showing us proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner. If you cancel before dispatch we refund within 14 days of you telling us. We refund to the payment method you used and do not charge a fee.
You can look at the products as you would in a shop. If they have been written in, torn or otherwise used beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value. We will explain any reduction.
9. If something is wrong with your order
We must supply products that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose. If they are not, you have legal rights:
- within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty product for a full refund;
- within six months you can ask for a repair or a replacement, and if that does not fix the problem you can have a refund or a price reduction;
- you may still have rights for up to six years (five in Scotland).
If a product arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, email contact@tradedeskco.com with your order number and a photo. We pay the cost of returning faulty or incorrect products. For more on your rights, see Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk).
10. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your legal rights in relation to the products.
Our products are for private use. They are reflective and educational stationery, not financial advice, and we are not responsible for trading or investment decisions you make or for any losses from them.
11. Your personal information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy and Cookies Notice.
12. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint, email contact@tradedeskco.com. We aim to reply within 3 business days. If we cannot resolve a complaint, we will tell you in writing and give you details of an alternative dispute resolution provider.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
If you live outside the UK, you also keep any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be excluded.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you placed it. Last updated 4 October 2026.
